The Racking Systems Layout Project Drawing should include the following:

• Dimensions of the storage area: Measurements showing the dimensions of the storage area such as width, length and height.
• Location of racking systems: Detailed drawings and diagrams showing the layout of the racking systems to be used in the storage area.
• Aisle widths and heights: Aisle widths and heights required for the movement of material handling equipment and employees.
• Load capacity: Information showing the load capacity of the racking systems and the maximum load that each rack can carry.
• Security measures: Information required for the safety measures to be applied in the storage area and the safe use of the racking systems.
• Material flow: Diagrams and drawings showing the flow of materials and products in the storage area.
• Compliance with laws and regulations: Information showing the layout and use of racking systems designed in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
