Shelving Systems Layout Project Drawing
There are some standards and regulations regarding the design, installation and use of industrial shelving systems in Turkey. These are as follows:
TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) Industrial Shelving Systems Standards: Standards such as TS 1478, TS EN 15512, TS EN 15620, TS EN 15635 and TS EN 15878 published by TSE determine the requirements regarding the design, manufacturing, installation, use and maintenance of industrial shelving systems.
Ministry of Labor and Social Security Work Equipment Regulation: This regulation determines the requirements regarding the design, manufacturing, installation, use and maintenance of work equipment and requires that industrial shelving systems are designed and used in accordance with these requirements.
AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) Storage Areas Regulation: This regulation determines certain requirements in order to ensure the safety of storage areas in disaster situations such as earthquakes, floods and fires. These requirements include issues such as durability, security and capacity of industrial shelving systems.
Occupational Health and Safety Regulation: This regulation determines the measures to be taken in workplaces regarding occupational health and safety. Industrial shelving systems are also considered as work equipment for workplaces and therefore must meet the requirements specified in the regulation.
Industrial racking systems design and installation in Turkey should be carried out in accordance with the standards and regulations mentioned above. This ensures that all requirements for the correct design, manufacture, installation and use of racking systems are met and helps businesses store materials safely.
Fire Regulation: The fire regulation specifies the requirements for fire resistance and fire safety of industrial racking systems.
Electrical Installations Regulation: The Electrical Installations Regulation specifies the requirements for electrical connections of industrial racking systems.
Building Earthquake Regulation: The Building Earthquake Regulation specifies the requirements for earthquake safety of industrial racking systems.
ISO (International Standards Organization) Industrial Racking Systems Standards: International standards such as ISO 15620, ISO 15512, ISO 6780 and ISO 445 specify the requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, use and maintenance of industrial racking systems.
These standards and regulations specify the requirements for the design and use of industrial racking systems and determine the rules that must be followed. These requirements include load-bearing capacity, durability of shelf material, fire safety, earthquake resistance, electrical connections, etc.
